Tri-Axium Writings is a series of three books on re-examining the composite reality of creative music and its related information continuum. Author Anthony Braxton believes that more than ever before there is a need for alternative viewpoints on this most important subject, and that unless efforts are made to restore a more practical and positive basis for viewing creativity, serious repercussions will await us in the near future.Braxton wrote these books from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s as a response to the state of things at that time, with the hope that his viewpoint would inspire other similar efforts.
