Fees

Disclaimer: For privacy reasons, and to maintain the integrity of our process, we never work directly with insurance companies. Upon request, we will provide a monthly super bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement purposes. We do not guarantee insurance reimbursement; all fees are the responsibility of the client and are due at the time of service. Please also note, not all insurance companies will provide reimbursement for Associate therapists. If you are seeking reimbursement, we recommend verifying reimbursement with your insurance company prior to scheduling an appointment by providing your insurance company with the specific credentials of your intended service provider and related CPT codes.

Animating Principle’s Workshop Fees

Psychotherapy

Individual Adult Therapy

$200/45-minute weekly session

Child/Teen Therapy

$250/45-minute weekly session

Parent Session

$300/45-minute as-needed session

Family Session

$350/60-minute as-needed session

*Please Note the Following* For new adult therapy clients, intakes are 75 minutes in length and charged an additional $150. For new children and teen clients (14 and younger), a 75-minute parent intake for an additional fee of $150 and separate 45-minute child/teen intake for an additional fee of $150 is required. For teens 15+, parent intakes are determined on a case-by-case basis.

*Non-weekly sessions are charged at a higher fee of $50 per session as they complicate the schedule and preclude us from scheduling a weekly client in that spot.

*Insurances do not always reimburse for out-of-network providers, nor do they always reimburse for therapy with an Associate therapist. Animating Principle’s Workshop does not guarantee reimbursement of any kind.

*Associate therapists offer sliding scale (reduced fee) spots for those experiencing financial hardship. To apply, you will need to provide proof of income or extenuating circumstances verifying financial hardship to our Client Services Administrator, Sean Chavez at seanchavez@animatingprinciplesworkshop.com. The lowest sliding-scale fee available is $100/45-minute session. Sliding-scale spots are limited, and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Select number of Sponsorship spots are available via an application and selection process for those in need of a fee under $100 per session. Contact Sean for an application.

Group Therapy

$50-$100 per individual/each 60-minute group (specific fee dependent on topic and facilitator; number of group meetings also vary depending on topic)

*Associate therapists offer sliding scale (reduced fee) spots for those experiencing financial hardship. To apply, you will need to provide proof of income or extenuating circumstances verifying financial hardship to our Client Services Administrator, Sean Chavez at seanchavez@animatingprinciplesworkshop.com. The lowest sliding-scale fee available for group therapy is $35/60-minute group session. Sliding-scale spots are limited, and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Personal Enrichment Classes

Coping/Psychoeducational/Art Classes

$50-$100 per individual/each 90-minute group class (specific fee dependent on topic and instructor)

James Golio Legacy Therapy Sponsorship

Limited number of no- and low-cost therapy and personal enrichment clients financially sponsored by Britney Holthouser, Marriage and Family Therapy, Inc.

Animating Principle’s Workshop is proud to offer individual and group therapy, and classes, for a limited number of clients at no or minimal cost for those who apply and are accepted under the James Golio Legacy Therapy Sponsorship. Britney Holthouser, founder and CEO of Animating Principle, provided tutoring and homework coaching to James for many years, and was devastated when James was killed in a car accident in 2021. In an effort to honor James’ memory, Britney and James’ mother Diane created the James Golio Therapy Sponsorship to help provide therapy services to struggling youth. James was a kind and creative soul whose memory will live on in the lives he touched and the lives he will continue to touch through this Sponsorship.
